“Yos sees himself as a truly modern, 21st century artist, naturally observing and working with the parameters of his ancestors-mentors: Rembrandt van Rijn, Gustave Courbet, Paul Bonnard, Wassily Kandinsky, Georges Braque, Chaim Soutine and others, Poets, Authors, Play Writers, Musicians and Spirituals.

He has worked, studied and exhibited in Tel Aviv, Paris, London, Barcelona and New York City. His latest big showing was at The Attic, the crown jewel gallery space in Santa Cruz California, through January 2008.

Yos works, they can be particularly arresting to their intended viewer, the initiated, being not conceived for merely casual observing.
